November Reading Plans

I’ve been busy with work the past couple of months and I honestly feel like I’m burnt out from all of my tasks. Sometimes, I feel like I need a getaway, just somewhere peaceful and cozy where I can just spend a day or two not thinking about anything but this virus — this pandemic — is just so scary. Maybe that’s the reason why I feel restless and always sleepy these days, hence, I haven’t been reading as productively as I have been during the start of the quarantine, but in October, I was able to finish two novels which I am really happy about. ♡

So for the month of November, I am putting less pressure on myself to finish my TBR, but have included books over 500 pages in my list, and they are as follows:

  • Slasher Girls & Monster Boys by April Genevieve Tucholke, Stefan Bachmann, Leigh Bardugo, Kendare Blake, A.G. Howard, Jay Kristoff, Marie Lu, Jonathan Maberry, Danielle Paige, Carrie Ryan, Megan Shepherd, Nova Ren Suma, McCormick Templeman, and Cat Winters

This is a carry over from my October reads. I started reading this on the last week of October and have been enjoying it so far! It’s a collection of short horror stories from quite a number of well-known authors. Hoping to finish this within the first week of November so I can proceed to my next read!

If you’re following me on my socials, you probably know that I am so excited to finally get to read this trilogy! I honestly haven’t read any of Brandon Sanderson works and I am so happy to start with this. I really wanted to start with Elantris, but it’s so hard to look for a trade paperback version of that book. Anyway, I am so excited to finally dive into the cosmere.

This has been carried over from September and, omg, I really need to get to this because these Septimus Heap books are just so fun to read and very relatable. I personally enjoy their adventures!

I think this has been on my Goodreads TBR for the longest time! I lost interest, eventually, because I never got the chance to have a copy of my own. But I met someone on Bookstagram a couple of months ago and she just can’t stop recommending this book to everyone, so I decided to give it a try! I got a copy last month from Fully Booked! Who knows? I might continue on with The Boy On the Bridge.

Aside from these, I am also excited for The Burning God by R.F. Kuang. It’s the conclusion to The Poppy War trilogy and it’s scheduled to be released this month! ♡

What about you? Any books you’re excited about?
