December Reading Plans

2020 was not easy for all of us, especially with the whole world on lockdown or quarantine and are all so ready to leave this year behind and hope the best for 2021. Yet I still couldn’t bring myself to believe that we’re already down to the last month of the year!

So now I’m down to my last TBR for 2020. Honestly, I admit that may be quite ambitious with my TBR this month given that I was only able to finish a book or two in the previous months (and some manga, comics, or poem books which are really short), but our office is usually closed during the holidays, so we are on mandatory day for almost two weeks! Of course, since the virus is still out there, I plan on spending most of the free time I have reading. As you all know, despite being able to put a dent on my physical TBR this year, I also accumulated A LOT of books so it feels like I didn’t put a dent at all. Haha Continue reading

October Reading Plans

20200921_104406_0000

September hasn’t really been a good month for me when it comes to reading, I was only able to finish Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I started reading The Poppy War (Poppy War, #1) by R.F. Kuang right after and I am still currently reading it. I am enjoying it a lot, but I’ve also been suffering from a lot of migraines the past couple of days that it was really hard for me to do some reading. I also had some deadlines for work, so there you go. Reasons.

Anyway, I will keep trying to set TBRs every month until I get used to it. Haha I really need to do this despite being a mood reader because I have acquired a lot of books since March and I really need to put a dent on my physical pile. Continue reading

#Wikathon TBR

Hey, everyone! Cheese, it’s already the end of July — I can hardly believe it. Time is flying by way too fast even when most of us are stuck at home during this time, eh? Anyway, I hope all of you are doing well and are making the most out of all the time we have to spend indoors. In my side of the world, July 31 is a holiday, so I’ve spent the whole day catching up with the books that I’m reading, shoot my books, watched anime, and now I’m writing this blog post. TBR of the Month

Image

These are the books that I’m hoping to finish this month.

As you all know, I’ve read the second book in the Mara Dyer series last November and I was hunting down the third book right after I finished reading it, but it always seemed out of stock, but just a few weeks ago, my officemate told me he saw it in a Fullybooked branch near their place in QC and yeah, I asked him to buy it for me. Finally, I’d be able to know the conclusion to Mara and Noah’s story! Meanwhile, I stumbled upon Kissing Ted Callahan and Other Boys yesterday and the cover was just so cute and I knew that I just had to have it!

There are so many things I’m looking forward to this month and I just can’t wait! Commissioner’s Cup will also start next week, so yeah, more basketball! Yay!
